Caravan Rentals – Guest Booking Terms and Conditions v04 updated 20.02.2026

1. Booking Confirmation

1.1. A booking is considered confirmed once the customer has completed the reservation process, including the payment of the required deposit.

1.2. The person making the booking (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer") must be at least 18 years old.

2. Reservation Deposit

2.1. A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure the booking. The amount of the deposit is specified during the booking process.

2.2. The remaining balance of the rental fee is due 8 weeks before the scheduled start date of the rental period.

3. Payment Methods

3.1. Payments can be made through the accepted methods listed on our website, including credit/debit cards or other specified payment options.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Cancellations made 8 weeks or more before the scheduled start date will be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable reservation deposit.

4.2. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 8 weeks of the scheduled start date.

4.3. The deposit made a time of booking is non-refundable.

5. Changes to Booking

5.1. Changes to the booking dates or other details may be accommodated subject to availability and approval by Caravan Rentals. This will be at the discretion of the owner renting from.

5.2. Any changes made may be subject to additional charges or fees, plus a £25 admin fee.

6. Collection and Return

6.1. The Customer agrees to occupy the caravan at the agreed-upon time (check in time) and return it by the specified end time (check out time). This information will be available on the listing.

6.2. Late returns may incur additional charges.

7. Usage of Caravan

7.1. The Customer agrees to use the caravan responsibly and in accordance with all relevant laws.

7.2. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the caravans.

7.3. Pets are strictly prohibited inside the caravans unless listed as “Pet Friendly” and agreed In advance on the booking.

8. Maintenance and Repairs

8.1. The Customer must report any damages, defects, or malfunctions promptly.

8.2. The owner of the caravan will cover the cost of repairs for normal wear and tear. The Customer is responsible for damages caused by misuse or negligence.

9. Insurance

9.1. We recommend that you take out your own UK travel insurance to cover the period of your stay and your requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

Caravan Rentals (“The Agency”) shall not be liable for:

10.1. Acts of Third-Party Service Providers: The Agency acts as an intermediary and is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any third-party service providers

10.2. Losses or Damages: The Agency is not liable for any losses, damages, or injuries incurred during travel, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or financial loss.

10.3. Accuracy of Information: The Agency strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information; however, it does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information, descriptions, or representations provided by third-party service providers.

11. Governing

11.1. These booking terms and conditions are governed by Caravan Rentals.

12. Sharing your details

12.1. We will share your personal details with the owner of the caravan you have made the booking with (Name, Email and Phone Number). This is to ensure the owner can get in touch with you directly to arrange and provide necessary check in details and caravan information.

13. Security Bond

13.1. The Customer agrees to pay a security bond in the amount specified at the time of booking.

13.2. The security bond is intended to cover any damages, loss, or additional costs incurred during the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear. This will also be used for excess cleaning if the caravan isn’t left the way it was found.

13.3. The security bond may also be used to cover any outstanding fees, fines, or charges resulting from the renter's violation of the terms and conditions herein.

13.4. The security bond must be paid in full at the time of booking or before the commencement of the rental period.

13.5. By providing payment details, the renter authorizes the caravan owner or rental agency to charge the security bond for any eligible claims.

13.6. The security bond will be processed for refund within 5 working days of the conclusion of the rental period, provided that no eligible claims have been made.

13.7. In the event of a dispute regarding the security bond, both parties (Customer & Caravan Owner) agree to engage in good faith negotiations to resolve the matter.

14. Check in and out Times

14.1 Guests must strictly adhere to the check in and check out times stated for the caravan they are staying in to allow for cleaning, safety checks, and preparation for incoming guests. Early check-in or late check-out is only permitted where agreed in writing in advance. Unauthorised early arrival or late departure may result in:

  • Additional charge of up to £50 per hour
  • Deduction from the security deposit; and/or
  • Refusal of entry (for early arrival).

14.2 Failure to vacate the caravan by the stated check-out time may result in further charges if it impacts subsequent bookings.

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

15.1 Caravan Rentals reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the Customer to review these terms periodically.
