Caravan Rentals – Owner Listing T&Cs – v02 updated 20.02.2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1. By engaging in any business relationship with Caravan Rentals, you agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our
services.

2. Services Offered

2.1. Caravan Rentals acts as an intermediary, facilitating the booking of your caravan rental.

2.2. Caravan Rentals will take 10% commission (Standard Package) or 15% (Fully managed
package) from the total booking value before sending the remaining payment to the owner.
The commission on bespoke packages will be agreed in writing between Caravan Rentals and
the owner before listing, if on a bespoke package this agreed commission will take precedent
over this clause.

2.3. Payment will be made the following working day once the guest has checked in.

2.4. Payment will be made to the bank account provided that we hold on file. The bank
account name must match the owner documents provided to us before listing. It is your
responsibility to update us if your bank details change.

What we expect from you:

2.5. If the guests experience any issues during their stay, it is the owners responsibility to
resolve the issues and communicate with the customer.

2.6. The owner must deal with any complaints made by the customer.

2.7. The owner must keep Caravan Rentals up to date on any changes to their holiday or site
to ensure the listing remains as up to date as possible.

2.8. It is the owners responsibility to complete ongoing checks of their caravan to ensure high
standards of H&S and comfort.

2.9. FULLY MANAGED ONLY: If issues arise during a guests stay, we will endeavour to
contact the owner should resolving the issue result in charges such as site maintenance team
or trades people, if we can’t contact the owner and we need to prioritise guest comfort and
safety, we will instruct the maintenance and pass charges to the owner.

3. Booking and Payments

3.1. Booking requests can be made through our website, by email, social media platforms or
via telephone.

3.2. A non-refundable deposit will be taken for all bookings. Full payment is typically required
8 weeks before the customer stay.

3.3. Payment methods and terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1. Caravan Rentals reserves the right to charge cancellation fees for its services should you
cancel a booking once taken which are detailed below in 4.4.

4.2. If an owner cancels a booking for any reason, the guest will be entitled to a full refund of
any money paid, including the deposit.

4.3. If a guest cancels the booking more than 8 weeks before, the cancellation will be
honoured but they will not receive the deposit back.

Please note: Caravan Rentals have the following standard cancellation policy in their Booking
T&C’s:

  • Cancellations made 8 weeks or more before the scheduled start date will be eligible
    for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable reservation deposit.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 8 weeks of the scheduled
    start date.
  • The deposit made a time of booking is non-refundable.

4.4. If an owner cancels a booking for any reason then the following charges will be payable to
Caravan Rentals:

  • The commission that was due on the booking
  • Plus a 25 GBP admin fee

5. Insurance

5.1. Caravan Rentals will not be held responsible for any insurance claims by renting to
customers on our platform. Any disputes will need to be dealt with directly with the customer.

5.2. Owners agree that they have applicable insurance in place for their holiday home, which
includes to rent out to paying guests and public liability insurance.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

6.1. Caravan Rentals is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties,
breaches, or negligence of any third-party providers.

6.2. Caravan Rentals is not responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries incurred during
rentals.

6.3. By listing on our platform, the owner agrees that you have suitable, valid documents for
the following as a minimum:

  • Suitable fire risk assessment that is reviewed every 12 months - or earlier if something
    happens or changes at your mobile home
  • Gas safety certificate with all Gas appliances checked by a Gas Safe registered
    engineer every 12 months
  • Fire blankets and fire extinguishers are available and checked regularly
  • Working smoke alarms, checked regularly
  • Working Carbon Monoxide detectors, checked regularly
  • All electrical appliances are PAT tested
  • Appropriate child safety devices installed on all window blinds and cords
  • All external areas are maintained and suitable
  • Your mobile home insurance covers use by paying guests and includes Public Liability
    Insurance.

Governing
These terms and conditions are governed by Caravan Rentals.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Caravan Rentals reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time
without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to review these terms periodically
